What's Next for Billtown Burlesque?
Our next move is to repeat our hit show we've created at other venues to continue transformation of our volunteer based group into a professional burlesque troupe. We have two upcoming shows here in Williamsport and are currently open to booking shows in Pennsylvania.
Our upcoming shows include one in early July in cooperation with local artists and musicians to entertain guests, spoof, spectacle, and help sell awesome art done by local talented artists. In early September, Street Light Photography, based out of the Pajama Factory, will be releasing a documentary highlighting the startup of our troop and WXPI's indispensable support and we will be having a coordinated performance just after the release.
As we polish our footwork and shine our sequins we'll be offering workshops in juggling, light acrobatics, clown skills, feather dancing and more. We'll also soon be posting a time and place for an open audition, where we'll ask you to come perform for us!
